I love working with Seniors. There is something about that anticipation of graduating--that sense of gratitude and accomplishment of all the years of hard work about to be paid off, that nostalgic feeling of leaving the small world of high school behind and taking off on a new and exciting life journey that I immensely enjoy capturing. This shoot was no exception, we had a lot of good laughs during this one! Congratulations Owen!
It's so hard to believe it's been a year since I first captured photos of this amazing little family. Little Asher is so grown up, seems like just yesterday he was a precious newborn! This was one of the last family shoots I had booked before I take a break to prepare for the arrival of our own little babe. The park was beautiful and the weather, perfect--one of the last warm days left of summer. Thank you Middleton's for letting me capture your family love!
I so loved this session with Keilah. We literally kept shooting til the sun went down, it was that much fun! I have always enjoyed watching dance, especially ballet--the elegance of the dancers just makes one feel so inspired and alive. So of course I get goosebumps joining these two art forms together and I seriously don't get to capture beauty like this nearly enough! So if there are any more dancers out there who need their portraits taken, I definitely wouldn't mind planning a shoot with you! ;)
I hope you enjoy viewing these images as much as I did taking them.
